Making a Difference Today
OUR STORY
Following in the footsteps of pioneers, we decided that it was high time now that we, as students, must follow in their steps and do our part. So we approached the Jahangirpuri Transgender community in 2017, and have been working with them since 2018.
Project Sahyog has decided to remain committed to the LGBTQ Betterment cause, and hence will continue working with the same transgender community, and even explore new ones.
Our community is headed by a very potent and passionate leader in Rihanna Ji. She and her fellow mates are themselves involved in several social activities, like running an aids awareness campaign, and they welcome any member of the community who is in any form of trouble and looking for help.
Project Sahyog has also learned a lot about life and how to cherish it from the Jahangirpuri transgender community and is very grateful for it.
The community is filled with people of different talents, and have a very vibrant atmosphere to go with their amicable nature. The cooperation shown by them is unimaginable.
IMPACT
Here at Project Sahyog, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
In our cherished tenure of working with the Jahangirpuri community, we have shared a lot of fond memories. Project Sahyog is currently working with 4-6 members of the community in the Haldi project.
We also have employment opportunities planned for them at Kinner Services, an organization of legendary Laxmi Narayan Tripathi ji, which wishes to set up its plant in Delhi very soon.
Members of all age groups are employed, and continue to work with us, with new members joining every now and then.
MISSION
Our mission is to work for the upliftment of transgender community and so we have developed an organic product termed as "Turmeric Powder".
The team came up with the idea of employing the Jahangirpuri Transgender community for the production of this powder so that the community can cope up with the coming challenges in their life.

VISION
Our vision is to bridge the gap between the society and the LGBTQ community via PROJECT SAHYOG. It is merely done to boost the LGBTQ community by providing them employment opportunities so that the stigma may be removed from the society and thereafter the transgender community would be treated likewise the other citizens. After the successful reach of the product we will ensure to give the full autonomy to Jahangirpuri Transgender community which would be termed as a long jump on our success ladder .
