Recently, Enactus Satyawati feels proud to conduct an “Instagram Live Interaction Session” under “PROJECT SAHYOG” with Ms. SONAL GIANI on the subject of “Lived realities of LGBTQ in India”.
The session gives us immense power to deal with the challenges in life. She shared various thoughts on the LGBTQ community and how she was working to bring a change in the world.
She gained a lot of strength from her experiences. She was upset, got dejected but she didn't ever lose hope of the larger goals. She suffered the worst phases of life but her self introspection, counseling, and her courage make her out to stand for the LGBTQ community. Currently, she is volunteering for two organizations “YAARIYAN” and “UMANG” for LGBTQ youth support groups. In the coming years, she was planning to make a positive, hilarious, and impactful film for the LGBTQ community to spread knowledge over the world.
SONAL GIANI is a true warrior, PROJECT SAHYOG salute for her determination, devotion, discipline, and dedication towards the community as well as to make the world a better place to live.

"Self Love is True Love"
Born in Mumbai, Zainab is a transgender person & is one of the petitioners in the National Legal Services Authority v. Union of India case on transgender rights. She holds an MBA in Human Resources & is the National Manager of Health & Human Rights at the UNDP country office in India.
During the session, she talked about the problems faced by the trans community in India and talked about ways to help in their growth and bring equality to society. Bullying, by society, in school, in the home, affects them mentally and in most cases, this happens to be the main reason for trans people to drop-out of schools and lack proper academic qualifications and leads to a dark and difficult future. She stated that active government involvement will make their situation better, and even discussed how the Transgender Protection Law, 2016 has brought changes and made them feel safe and free in the country. In the end, she said that how can we make trans people around, our friends, our family members, our society members feel safe and homely and encourage them to make them feel a part of society.
Enactus Satyawati feels proud that they had their ‘Live-Session Chapter 1’ with Zainab Patel on Instagram. The session turned out to be highly inspirational and highly enriching. We are extremely thankful to Zainab ma’am for all the precious words of yours. Indeed, your diligence coupled with your never says die attitude makes what you are today. One important thing we learned from you is that ‘Self Love is True Love.’

“Judge and respect people on account of their work, not on their gender”.
ARYAN PASHA
Aryan Pasha India’s First Transgender man to win the bodybuilding championship.
PROJECT SAHYOG comes up with a story of another warrior Mr. Aryan Pasha, India’s 1 trans man bodybuilder and a lawyer by profession.
An “Instagram Live Interaction Session” was conducted and it was really an inspiring session. He shared various thoughts and aspects of life like when he was participating in bodybuilding championships. He just wants to participate and tell the world that he is a trans and can give a tough competition. Well, he practiced hard and gave his 100 percent.
He shared that he got a very supportive family which proves to be a backbone for himself. He added people used to say that to go for “tantriks” they will help you out and make you ashamed of the community itself. But Aryan Pasha was the guy who overcame every obstacle in his life with his strength and determination.
He merely added that basic human rights and offenses must be included in our education system from the beginning so that the LGBTQ community would get to know about their rights and powers as well. Last he advised the LGBTQ community that don't run from situations, try to face them, and make their parents the backbone of your life.
ARYAN PASHA is a fighter, PROJECT SAHYOG salute for his determination, devotion, discipline, and dedication towards the transgender community as well as to make the world a better place to live by his immense guidance and support.

'Life is not a bed of roses'
KIARA IYER
Ms. Kiara Iyer, the marketing and PR Manager of the 'Lalit Ashok', Bangalore. Enactus Satyawati under Project SAHYOG feels proud to conduct a live session on Instagram where we discussed our thoughts and shared our views about the major problems that are faced by the transgender community.
She started the session with a strong saying, "Every human must know his or her worth, come out of the stereotype world of he, she and the third gender and be your own gender that is 'Be Yourself'. She even gave us ideas to make our product that is Organic Haldi, to reach everyone in society and how our initiative will help in getting the transgenders recognition in the society. She even said that the pride month shouldn't be held for a month instead, it should be celebrated throughout the year and every day an individual should be proud of themselves. In workplaces, workers should only be judged based on their skills and quality of work. Companies must come up with a thorough training session for the transgender and make them well-qualified since most of them lack the necessary skill set required for the position. Moreover, she even talked about how Section 377 has changed the public's reaction towards the trans community and she was very happy to see how much teenagers are open about gender.
We are grateful to Ms. Iyer for all the precious words. Today, we learned that 'Life is not a bed of roses', especially in the case of the LGBTQ community. But, you truly taught us the real meaning of the terms 'determination', 'hard work' and 'never say die attitude', out of the dictionary world. People like you are the inspiration to millions of teenagers, children, and weaker sections of the society out there. Your polite nature, humbleness, and fierce spirit touched us to the core. Huge respect!
